Tourmalinated quartz bead silver heart drop stud earrings

 

This stunning set of earrings were lovingly handmade in my summerhouse garden studio, in Tayport, Fife and I am inspired by the textures of my natural surroundings and specialise in making bespoke wedding and engagement rings, as well as bridal jewellery. They were designed to match this statement necklace and are a one of a kind set of earrings. They can be worn on their own or part of the set. What would you call the silver shape? A pear drop, tear drop or as I say, the shape is a contemporary version of a love heart, I also have a simple single link pendant that could be worn with the earrings.

I love how tourmalinated quartz has natural black rutiles through the stones, created by nature and each bead is totally unique. Some have very subtle black lines and others have lots of details within the stone. They have such character and sparkle when they catch the light. I have designed the top silver stud based on the shape of the bead, the silver has hammered texture detail which sparkles when they catch the light. The bead swings and moves

These stunning elegant, one of a kind earrings would be suitable as bridal jewellery, for a dinner or awards party. Or you could also dress them down and wear them to work if you still want a bit of glamour.
